"Quirky and very romantic" - There's a sense of true dedication about this idiosyncratic and very romantic restaurant-with-rooms set in a fairy glade of a bog garden (The Good Food Guide 2011). In the dining room there's a relaxed unpretentious feel. The cooking appeals for its well-executed straight forwardness and dedication to local raw seasonal materials. Short, daily-changing dinner menus deliver the like of Smoked Haddock Creme Brulee and Roasted Rack of Salt Mark Lamb with a Rosemary Garlic Crust.
The Cors is open Thursdays, Fridays and Saturday evenings and is also open for private parties for 12 people or more. The Good Food Guide and the AA Restaurant Guide have awarded The Cors with 2 Rosettes.
