The Space

As soon as you step foot in the unique country house, you're welcomed by a stylish foyer leading to all upper floors and areas of this gorgeous home. It was recently converted from an exquisite Victorian house, designed and decorated with contemporary touches that complement the breathtaking surroundings of the mesmerising Laugharne.

Plenty of natural light comes through the large windows and terrace doors, making the whole house very bright during the entire day, enhancing the elegant ambience, and allowing you to gaze at the majestic views of the garden.

This former restaurant is a bit of a celebrity as it was featured on the BAFTA award-winning BBC drama Keeping Faith.

The fully equipped kitchen is where you'll get to prepare delicious gourmet meals before gathering in the grand dining area with your loved ones and enjoying these tasty delicacies. This well-designed large bog garden consists of approximately two and a half acres with ponds, Gunnera, bamboo, tree ferns, and lovely sculptures. Choose from the sun-soaked terraces, exotic gardens, and comfy seating areas. Take a stroll around the magical property while the gas BBQ is getting ready and marvel at the fairy tale ambiance.

Please be aware of the open ponds and river to the side of the grounds as there are no railings.

★ THE CORS COUNTRY HOUSE HISTORY ★
The country house was a former restaurant/b&b run by the renowned chef and gardener Nick Priestland since 1992. His contribution to the restaurant scene in West Wales was immense, and his talent was well recognized by food writers in the national press and by the awards he received.

The Cors was frequently visited by many guests, travellers, artists and celebrities, who all spoke highly of the gorgeous interior design, unique garden, and its remarkable and passionate owner whose free spirit shone through in all he did.

The Cors was also featured in the BBC's BAFTA award-winning drama Keeping Faith!

★ COVID-19 SANITIZATION ★
Heath, safety, and well-being of our guests are of utmost importance. For this reason, we use a thorough cleaning process after each check-out.
